Okay, I know that it’s early to start getting excited. However, I somehow shaved 55 seconds off my two-mile time from yesterday to finish in 17:20. Thoughout today, my legs felt more heavy than actually sore. The biggest difference with today’s run was with my breathing. I started out slower on my first lap today and it made a huge difference. If I can keep shaving off a minute every day over the next couple of weeks, then I’ll be moving my family to Kenya to open up my own personal running camp!
The initial goal for me will be to run two miles per day for ten straight days. I know, I know….the experts will say that you need the rest days, but I really want to put myself through a mini running boot camp just to establish a foundation. It could be a good way to put a little shock in my body and get my head screwed on the right way.
Thanks again to those who have posted comments. I am enjoying reading your blogs as well. We can all have a little fun with our fitness kicks together.
